Delete your data

1. Email us from the address on your account at privacy@blaqplate.com, with the subject “Delete my Blaqplate data”. Sending from the registered address is how we know the request is yours.
2. Include your full name and the phone number on the account. If you can, add a recent order reference. Never send your password.
3. We confirm it's you. We may reply with a question or a one-time code to check. This protects you from someone else deleting your account.
4. We delete your data within 30 days of confirming, and email you when it's done.

Email a deletion request

The same account is used on the website and the mobile app, so one request covers both.

• Your profile: name, email address, phone number and password.
• Your saved delivery addresses.
• Your sign-in sessions and notification settings, including mobile push tokens.
• Your reviews and table bookings, or we remove your name from them.
• Your referral links.

Tax and accounting law requires us to keep a record of orders and payments for a set period. We keep only that record (what was bought, the amount and the payment reference), detached from your profile where we can, and delete it when the period ends. We may also keep a minimal note that a deletion was requested, so we can prove we acted on it.

Any unspent ChopBack balance is lost when an account is deleted, so spend it first if you would like to use it.

• Deletion can't be undone. You'd need to create a new account afterwards.
• Orders that are still being prepared or delivered must finish first.
• Only want to change something? You can edit your name, phone and addresses yourself in your account.
